First Mastermind Meeting of 2008

Today is the first Destin Real Estate Mastermind Meeting of 2008. This is already starting off to be a spectacular year. Business is booming in the area, and there will soon be a quite a bit a buzz about the Northwest Florida area.

This is definately the year that the Emerald Coast is put back on the map as "The Place To Be".

We will have more highlights and video clips of today's meeting later this week. And now that we have resolved some of the technical issues with the video editing, the rest of the clips will be up online in short order as well.

Mastermind Meeting 12/10

This meeting's guest was Richard Long, VP of The Zimmerman Agency. Richard handles the marketing and promotion for the Okaloosa County TDC.

Highlights of the meeting include:

A major factor in stimulating our loca real estate market and economy in general is our ability to attract more visitors to vacation and buy real estate in our area. While there is no question that area embassadors Okaloosa County TDC, beaches of South Walton County, The Great Northwest are doing a great job in promoting the areas of Destin and South Walton County to the rest of the country, there still needs to more.

We [Destin Masterminds] are in the process of exploring additional avenues or partnerships between these groups and the Destin Real Estate Mastermind Group, it's business partners, and organizations such as realtors (ECAR) to highlight our area to even larger portions of the country that may not completely understand the hidden treasure that is the Emerald Coast.

Our next meeting will address how our group can affect the process. The meeting will be held Jan. 14, 2008.
